CSG is exclusively partnered with a leading clinical organisation who are on the lookout for their next Chief Commercial Officer. Their aim is to triple their headcount over the next 5 years and are looking for a strong leader to lead them and play a key role in shaping the future of clinical research.

The chosen candidate for the role of CCO will define and shape business approach, lead high impact teams, and be a central figure in the transformation of the industry in an entrepreneurial, growth-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and drive the business's global commercial vision,balancing strategic growth
  • Oversee and optimise a multi-tiered sales cycle
  • Lead marketing expansion efforts, identifying new revenue streams and innovative
  • Own C-level client relationships
  • Lead bid defences and negotiations
  • Represent the company at global industry events, leveraging AI and digital innovation to enhance lead generation and brand positioning
  • Implement best-in-class sales teams ans process's, including CRM-driven insights, monthly BD performance reviews, and data-driven decision-making.

Who you are

  • 15+ years in senior sales management selling a service
  • Success in both short (2-4 weeks) and long (3-9 months) sales cycles
  • Managed minimum 2 hierarchical levels across international teams alongside a track record of recruiting and building teams
  • Proficient with CRM tools alongside an ability to build reporting functions in Excel
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Recent experience in a start / scale up environment
