Technical Lead - Aqua - SEA

A leading global provider in aquaculture nutrition and health solutions is seeking a South-East Asia Aqua Technical Manager to support its commercial growth and technical delivery across the region. This position plays a critical role in strengthening technical capabilities, driving product development, and supporting customer success across multiple countries, with a particular focus on shrimp production systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level technical support to regional sales teams, distributors, and key accounts throughout Southeast Asia.
  • Conduct feed formulation reviews and provide troubleshooting support at both farm and feed mill levels.
  • Lead the design, execution, and evaluation of on-farm trials to validate product efficacy and gather performance data.
  • Deliver technical training and presentations to internal staff, customers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Work closely with R&D and marketing to adapt global technical concepts into local, practical solutions.
  • Assist in the development of market-relevant technical materials and application guidelines.
  • Monitor regional market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity to support strategic planning.
  • Support product registration processes and maintain technical documentation in line with corporate standards.

Candidate Profile

  • Master's degree in Aquaculture, Aquatic Animal Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in aquaculture nutrition, ideally with exposure to feed formulation and farm-level technical support.
  • Strong practical knowledge of shrimp farming; familiarity with other key species such as tilapia, catfish, and marine fish is advantageous.
  • Experience working across multiple Southeast Asian markets is essential.
  • Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and capable of working both independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Fluent in English; other Southeast Asian languages are beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel extensively (50%+) within the region, including to farms, mills, and partner facilities.
