CSG Talent is partnering with a global industrial manufacturing leader in the search for a Accounts Payable Officer to join their collaborative finance and supply chain team in Sydney.

This permanent, part-time role (32 hours per week) offers flexibility - whether you prefer 4 full working days or shorter hours across 5 days. The position plays a key role in ensuring timely and accurate processing of logistics-related invoices.

What You'll Be Doing

Your primary responsibility will be to validate freight rates, reconcile invoices, and resolve discrepancies raised by freight companies or internal teams. You will act as a key liaison between finance, supply chain operations, and external vendors to ensure smooth payment processing and operational accuracy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing invoice workflows in the Esker system
  • Validating freight invoices against agreed terms and resolving mismatches
  • Liaising with operations and supply chain teams for approvals and query resolution
  • Communicating with freight vendors to follow up on credit notes and disputed invoices
  • Reconciling monthly freight vendor statements
  • Supporting the clearing of GR/IR accounts and related financial housekeeping


About you:

  • Experience in accounts payable or logistics administration with a strong understanding of freight invoicing
  • Proven background using SAP and invoice workflow systems (e.g., Esker, Ariba, Microsoft Dynamic or similar)
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders and vendors
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and time management skills
  • A team player who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
