We're partnering with a leading business in the building materials industry that supplies high-quality, innovative products to the commercial and industrial sectors across Australia. With a strong reputation in the market and a supportive team environment, they're currently looking for an experienced Accounts Support professional to join their centralized finance team.

This is a hands-on allrounder role with a primary focus on credit control and data management, while also supporting accounts payable functions as needed. You'll work closely with the Credit Control Manager and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts receivable and credit control, including chasing overdue payments and maintaining credit limits

• Investigating and resolving account discrepancies and customer queries

• Updating and maintaining accurate debtor records and data

• Assisting with accounts payable including invoice processing, reconciliations, and payment runs

• Supporting end-of-month reporting and data integrity checks

• Liaising with internal teams such as sales and operations for account accuracy

• Handling customer communications in a professional, courteous manner

• Contributing to process improvements and ad hoc financial admin tasks

What You'll Bring:

• Prior experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar accounts support role

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage high volumes of data accurately

• A team-first mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed

• Confident communication skills and a proactive attitude

• Experience using accounting or ERP systems preferred
