Our client is a well-established manufacturer of high-performance consumables used in mining machinery, supplying major operators across surface and underground mining. With a strong product portfolio and ambitious growth plans for the region, they are now seeking a Vice President of Sales, North America to lead and scale their commercial operations.

The Role

Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, the VP of Sales will have full responsibility for revenue growth, sales strategy, and team leadership across North America. This is a hands-on, strategic role suited to a proven sales leader who understands the mining ecosystem and can operate credibly at both boardroom and site level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the North American sales strategy to drive profitable growth

  • Lead, mentor, and expand a regional sales team, including key account managers and distributors

  • Develop and maintain senior-level relationships with major mining operators, EPCs, and OEM partners

  • Identify new market opportunities, product applications, and strategic partnerships

  • Work closely with operations, engineering, and product teams to align customer needs with manufacturing capabilities

  • Forecast sales performance, manage budgets, and report accurately to executive leadership

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer sites

About You

  • Senior sales leadership experience within mining, heavy equipment, or industrial consumables

  • Strong understanding of the North American mining market (surface and/or underground)

  • Demonstrated success scaling sales teams and growing market share

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-driven approach

  • Comfortable with complex, long-cycle sales and technical products

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Willingness to travel extensively across North America
