US Technical Sales Manager - Monogastrics

About the Opportunity
A growing US based biotechnology company specializing in biological feed solutions for animal nutrition is looking to add to its commercial team. This is an opportunity to help shape the commercial function and bring a strong internal R&D capability to market across the poultry and swine sectors. The products in focus are advanced feed solutions designed to improve digestibility, performance, and gut health in monogastric livestock.
The Role

You will act as the face of the company commercially, working closely with the internal research team to translate technical product data into value for producers, integrators, and distributors. This is a new business development role rather than an existing account management position, and offers input into how the commercial side of the business is shaped going forward.
Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and develop new client relationships across poultry and swine producers, integrators, and distributors nationally
- Deliver technical product presentations and demonstrations, translating research data into commercial value
- Partner with the internal research and technical team to support presales activity and customer specific solutions
- Build and manage a sales pipeline, forecasting and reporting on new business development activity
- Represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technology in feed and monogastric nutrition
Requirements
- At least 5-10 years of sales experience within animal nutrition, feed additives, or a closely related agricultural sector, with an established network in the space
- PhD/DVM in animal nutrition, animal science, or a related field is preferred
- Candidates with a master's degree and strong relevant industry sales experience will also be considered
- Comfortable working independently in a field based, remote role while collaborating closely with an internal technical team
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to a range of audiences
What's on Offer
- The opportunity to help shape a company's US commercial strategy
- Autonomy and ownership over territory and account strategy
- A technically strong internal research team supporting the sales function
