Territory Sales Manager | Western U.S.
Territory Development and New Business Focus

Overview

We're partnering with an innovative food and beverage ingredient manufacturer that is expanding its commercial sales team and looking for a Territory Sales Manager to build and grow a Western U.S. territory.

This is a true business development role. You'll be responsible for creating new opportunities, developing customer relationships, and building a territory from the ground up through consultative, long cycle sales.

If you enjoy prospecting, building relationships, and creating something that is truly your own, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing a rewarding career in technical B2B sales.

What You'll Do

* Develop and execute a territory growth strategy centered on new business acquisition.

* Identify, prospect, and engage new customers within the food and beverage manufacturing industry.

* Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline through consistent outreach, networking, and follow up.

* Own the full sales process from initial conversations through closing new business.

* Grow newly acquired customers into long term partnerships with opportunities for continued expansion.

* Build trusted relationships with key decision makers and become a valued resource for your customers.

* Partner with technical, marketing, operations, and customer support teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.

* Learn the company's products and confidently communicate their value to both technical and non technical audiences.

* Travel throughout your assigned territory to meet customers and support business growth.

Territory

* Multi state territory across the Western United States.

* Primary geographic focus based on your home location.

* Additional markets introduced as your territory continues to grow.

Who You Are

You may be a great fit if you have:

* 1 to 4 years of B2B sales, business development, SDR, BDR, or inside sales experience.

* A track record of prospecting and generating new business opportunities.

* Excellent communication and relationship building skills.

* A competitive mindset with resilience and self motivation.

* A willingness to learn, accept coaching, and continuously improve.

* The ability to work independently while managing your own territory.

* An interest in consultative selling and longer sales cycles.

Technical Aptitude

You don't need previous experience in this industry to be successful.

What matters most is your curiosity and your willingness to learn. You'll receive training on the products and industry so you can confidently help customers identify solutions that support their business goals.

* Build your own territory and make a direct impact on its success.

* Join a growing organization with a collaborative and supportive culture.

* Work alongside experienced technical and cross functional teams that want to help you succeed.

* Enjoy uncapped earning potential that rewards your effort and results.

* Develop valuable consultative selling skills within a specialized industry.

* Take ownership of a high impact territory early in your sales career.

Ideal Candidate Backgrounds

This opportunity could be an excellent fit for:

* SDR or BDR professionals ready to transition into outside sales.

* Inside sales representatives looking for territory ownership.

* Early career B2B sales professionals who want more responsibility.

* Candidates with experience in manufacturing, industrial, food and beverage, packaging, ingredients, or other technical sales environments.

* Individuals with competitive backgrounds such as athletics, entrepreneurship, or commission based sales.

Only candidates with a right to work in the United States will be considered for this role. Visa sponsorship is not available.
