Location: Eastern Canada, with Newfoundland or Labrador preferred
Territory: Eastern Canada
Travel: Approximately 50-70% across customer mine sites and mineral processing operations

Due to continued growth across Canada, the company is looking to appoint a Territory Manager to manage and develop key mining accounts throughout Eastern Canada.

About the Role

The Territory Manager will be responsible for building strong relationships with strategic mining customers and identifying opportunities to grow aftermarket, service and equipment-related revenue.

This is a highly customer-facing role that requires regular time on mine sites, working closely with maintenance, reliability, operations, procurement and senior management teams.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted technical and commercial partner, helping customers improve equipment performance, reduce downtime and optimise their mineral processing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of strategic mining accounts across Eastern Canada.

  • Build trusted relationships with mine management, maintenance, reliability, operations and procurement teams.

  • Identify opportunities to grow aftermarket, service and equipment-related sales.

  • Conduct regular customer site visits, equipment inspections and plant reviews.

  • Understand customer operational challenges and recommend suitable technical and commercial solutions.

  • Develop annual account plans focused on revenue growth, customer retention and market share.

  • Promote a broad portfolio of mining equipment, wear parts, spare parts, upgrades and services.

  • Coordinate with internal engineering, service, product and technical support teams.

  • Support shutdown planning, equipment rebuilds, inspections and maintenance programmes.

  • Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial agreements.

  • Lead contract negotiations and support long-term service agreements.

  • Monitor competitor activity and identify opportunities to expand the company's presence within customer sites.

  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, account information and CRM activity.

  • Ensure a high level of customer service throughout the full sales and project lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will combine strong technical mining knowledge with a consultative and commercially focused approach.

You will ideally have:

  • At least five years of experience within mining, mineral processing, heavy equipment or industrial aftermarket sales.

  • Experience managing strategic customer accounts within the mining sector.

  • A strong understanding of mineral processing equipment and plant operations.

  • Experience selling aftermarket products, technical services or capital equipment.

  • A consultative, solution-based sales approach.

  • The ability to identify operational challenges and translate them into commercial opportunities.

  • Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills.

  • The confidence to engage with stakeholders ranging from maintenance teams to senior mine leadership.

  • The ability to work independently across a large geographical territory.

  • Strong commercial awareness and account planning capability.

Qualifications

  • A degree or technical qualification in Engineering, Mining, Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Business or a related discipline is preferred.

  • A valid driver's licence is required.

  • Candidates must be comfortable travelling regularly across Eastern Canada.

  • English is required, with French-language capability considered highly advantageous.
