A leading manufacturer within the building materials sector is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to join its Western Sydney based technical team.

This role supports the commercial function by providing technical guidance on building envelope products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to technical enquiries from internal teams
• Interpret drawings, plans and specifications
• Recommend suitable product solutions across façade, roofing and panel systems
• Support building envelope performance across structure, fire, thermal and weather
• Assist with basic structural calculations
• Prepare clear technical responses and documentation
• Provide sketches or mark ups to support design understanding
• Work closely with sales and commercial teams across projects

Candidate Background:

• Degree in Engineering, Building Science, Construction or similar
• Exposure to building envelope products
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Willingness to learn and apply structural concepts
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving ability
• Australian PR/Citizen
• Current driver's license and access to a vehicle
