Technical Sales Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Support Specialist with a strong background in underground rock crushing, rock-breaking, and mining equipment. This is a hands-on, "boots-on-the-ground" role supporting account managers across North America, primarily focused on underground mining solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with a team of account managers to provide technical expertise, training, and on-site support for approximately 60 key accounts in tunneling and mining, totaling $75M for the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical sales support to account managers in the underground mining and tunneling sector.

• Deliver on-site training, installation guidance, and troubleshooting for mining equipment and fixed plant operations.

• Collaborate with account managers to drive sales and customer satisfaction in assigned territories (AZ, NV, UT, and wider North America).

• Maintain and grow relationships within the underground mining network; provide technical insights for product application and performance.

• Support a team-oriented environment, working alongside 3 account managers

• Travel approximately 50%.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven background in underground rock crushing, rock-breaking, or mining equipment (MTI experience a plus).

• Experience with underground operations; some surface equipment knowledge acceptable but primary focus must be underground.

• Hands-on installation, maintenance, or technical training experience in mining/fixed plant operations.

• Strong customer focus, with ability to train and support clients directly on-site.

• Team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Willingness to travel extensively across the Western USA and North America.
