Supply Chain & Procurement Specialist | Contract to direct hire opportunity: W2/ 1099

Location: PA - Onsite

CSG is supporting a growing aerospace and autonomous systems company that has quietly established itself as a leader within its niche of the defense UAV market. Over the past two decades, the business has secured significant government-backed funding, successfully commercialized multiple technologies, and built a reputation for delivering systems that are used in operational environments today. The company has successfully taken numerous products from concept through manufacturing, qualification, and flight testing, and continues to invest heavily in its operations and supply chain functions.

The role would involve:

* Managing procurement activities across direct, indirect, and operational spend categories
* Issuing purchase orders and maintaining purchasing activity through an ERP system
* Supporting supplier selection, supplier management, and RFQ processes
* Working closely with production, quality, receiving, engineering, and finance teams to ensure program schedules are met
* Monitoring inventory levels and material availability to support manufacturing operations
* Resolving supplier delivery, quality, and invoice-related issues
* Collecting and analyzing procurement and supply chain data to support decision-making
* Contributing to process improvements and the development of procurement best practices

The ideal background would include:

* 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience within a manufacturing environment
* Strong ERP system experience
* Inventory control and materials planning knowledge
* Supplier management and negotiation experience
* Previous aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or government contracting exposure would be advantageous
