State Sales Manager | QLD & NT

The Company

A leading manufacturer within the building materials sector is seeking a State Sales Manager to drive growth across Queensland and the Northern Territory.

With a strong reputation in the construction market, the business partners with builders, contractors, developers, architects and consultants to deliver solutions across commercial and industrial projects.

The Role

This is a territory based sales role combining account management and business development. Managing an established customer base, you will focus on strengthening existing relationships while identifying new project opportunities across Queensland and the Northern Territory.

Working closely with customers and project stakeholders, you will track opportunities from early engagement through to project completion, providing technical guidance and commercial support along the way.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing customers
  • Develop new business opportunities across the region
  • Identify and track project opportunities through the sales cycle
  • Present product solutions to customers and project stakeholders
  • Build relationships with builders, contractors, architects and consultants
  • Maintain an active CRM pipeline and provide regular forecasting
  • Work closely with internal technical and commercial teams

About You

  • Sales experience within building materials, construction products or manufacturing
  • Strong relationship building and business development skills
  • Experience working within project based sales environments
  • Self motivated and comfortable managing a territory independently
  • Strong communication, organisation and CRM skills
  • Commercially minded with a focus on growth and customer success
