Senior Swine Technical Manager - China

A global leader in animal nutrition is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Swine Consultant to join its growing team in China.

This is a strategic, customer facing role focused on supporting some of the largest and most progressive swine producers in China. The successful candidate will offer a blend of technical expertise with strong commercial awareness to help customers improve productivity, performance, and profitability through advanced production practices and technical consultation.

The Opportunity

As a key member of the swine technical team, you will work closely with major integrated producers and industry stakeholders, providing high-level technical support across farm management, production efficiency, herd performance, and operational excellence.

This position offers the opportunity to influence the development of modern swine production systems in one of the world's most important pork markets while collaborating with an experienced commercial and technical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert technical support to large scale swine producers across China.
• Partner with customers to identify performance improvement opportunities and implement practical solutions.
• Deliver recommendations on farm management, productivity enhancement, herd health, and production efficiency.
• Support commercial teams through technical presentations, customer visits, and strategic consultations.
• Build trusted relationships with key decision makers and technical stakeholders within customer organizations.
• Analyze production data and develop action plans to improve customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with regional technical, commercial, and innovation teams to support business growth.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Master's degree required in Animal Science, Swine Production, Veterinary Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
• PhD beneficial but not essential.
• 10+ years of relevant swine industry experience, preferably within technical services, production management, consulting, nutrition, genetics, or integrated pork production.
• Strong understanding of modern commercial swine production systems.
• Experience working with large scale producers and integrated operations.
• International education and/or professional experience in North America or Europe is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to influence and advise senior customer stakeholders.
• Existing network within China's swine industry would be advantageous.
• Open to candidates currently working for producers, integrators, nutrition companies, genetics companies, or technical consulting organizations.
• Fluent Mandarin and English communication skills.
