About the Opportunity

A well-established Southern California general contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to join its team and lead the field operations of complex commercial construction projects.

This is a senior-level opportunity for a proven construction professional who can take ownership of projects from mobilization through completion, while leading field teams, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all field operations on assigned construction projects.
• Manage and mentor Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and field personnel.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain, and drive project schedules to ensure milestones are met.
• Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project documents.
• Conduct regular site walks and monitor construction progress, quality, and safety.
• Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget.
• Coordinate inspections, testing, deliveries, logistics, and site activities.
• Work closely with Project Managers and the preconstruction team to ensure successful project execution.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and project coordination meetings.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with company safety and quality standards.
• Assist with project planning, phasing, logistics, and constructability reviews.
• Provide leadership and accountability across the project team.
