A global food manufacturer specializing in international cuisines is expanding its U.S. Private Label and Contract Manufacturing division. The company partners with leading retailers, consumer brands, restaurant groups, and foodservice operators to deliver authentic, high-quality food solutions at scale.
We are seeking a commercially driven leader to accelerate growth, cultivate strategic partnerships, and oversee seamless coordination between U.S. customers and global manufacturing teams.
Commercial Strategy & Growth
Develop and execute the growth strategy for Private Label and Contract Manufacturing in the U.S.
Identify priority market segments, assess whitespace opportunities, and shape pricing and product strategies
Drive new customer acquisition and manage broker and agency relationships
Customer & Account Development
Lead the full sales lifecycle from prospecting through onboarding and long-term account expansion
Build strong relationships with retail buyers and cross-functional customer teams
Cross-Functional Execution
Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, Quality Assurance, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams overseas to deliver best-in-class solutions
Partner with marketing to develop high-impact sales materials and capability presentations
Project & Commercial Oversight
Manage projects end-to-end, including formulation alignment, cost modeling, packaging specifications, artwork approvals, production timelines, and launch execution
Coordinate export documentation, shipment follow-ups, and post-launch technical support
Serve as primary commercial contact for customer inquiries
Financial & Operational Leadership
Own divisional P&L including pricing strategy, cost structures, minimum order quantities, and trade investments
Lead forecasting, pipeline reporting, and long-range planning
Team Development
Build and guide a growing commercial team as the business scales
Establish repeatable processes to support sustainable growth
Proven success selling Private Label and/or Contract Manufacturing solutions from the manufacturing side (experience in both preferred)
Direct experience working with retail organizations and understanding category management, QA, and development workflows
Strong knowledge of food product development cycles, manufacturing processes, packaging formats, and commercialization timelines
Experience managing costing, pricing strategy, and full P&L responsibility within food or beverage manufacturing
Ability to represent international manufacturing capabilities to U.S.-based customers
Background in food & beverage, CPG, or related sectors preferred
