We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a leading global General Contractor. In this role, you will lead, direct, and coordinate the overall management of multiple complex projects. Operating as a pivotal leader within our operations team, you will report directly to executive leadership (Project Executive / Operations Manager) and drive the successful delivery of major builds from preconstruction through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a high-performance project team through direct supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring; ensure continuous feedback and complete timely performance appraisals.

  • Fully understand and administer prime contracts and subcontract agreements; manage project budgets, financial reporting, and deep-dive analysis to ensure adherence to financial targets.

  • Establish, update, and communicate the Master Project Schedule; manage field operations, engineering processes, and overall QA/QC programs.

  • Foster and enhance strong working relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and vendors.

  • Collaborate with the Preconstruction team during project development; partner with Accounting to initiate the Pay Application process and ensure timely payment management.

  • Drive strict enforcement of safety protocols across the project site and educate teams on labor, employee relations, and insurance requirements.

  • Keep the leadership team informed on project progress and financial status through regularly scheduled Operations Review Meetings (ORMs).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on training).

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of related construction project management experience, ideally delivering large-scale commercial or mission-critical projects.

  • Thorough knowledge of construction costing, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, and engineering principles. Proficiency with MS Office Suite and construction management software is required.

  • Proven ability to implement leading-edge technologies, including Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Lean Construction principles.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a demonstrated track record of strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • This role is regularly based on-site at active construction locations.
