An established MEP consulting engineering firm is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the delivery of complex building services projects while playing a key role in the future growth of the business. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and delivery of mechanical building services projects from concept through construction.
  • Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor across a diverse project portfolio.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Support project planning, resource allocation, and quality assurance activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and help identify opportunities for continued growth.
  • Assist in developing operational processes and engineering best practices.
  • Play an active role in the long-term leadership and succession planning of the business.

The Successful Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) licence preferred or the ability to obtain one.
  • Extensive experience within MEP consulting engineering.
  • Strong background delivering mechanical systems for commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, hospitality, or institutional projects.
  • Proven experience leading projects, managing teams, and mentoring engineers.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships.
  • Commercially minded with an interest in contributing to the strategic growth of a business.
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and the desire to take on increasing responsibility over time.
