  • Integrate with enterprise data governance platforms via APIs and SDKs

  • Develop and customise workflow automation to support metadata management and governance processes

  • Support and enhance metadata ingestion pipelines, including batch and event-driven processing

  • Collaborate with UI developers on web-based dashboards and user interfaces

  • Optimise applications for performance, scalability, and security

  • Implement secure authentication and authorisation mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, LDAP)

  • Work within Agile delivery teams, contributing to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices

Required Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in Java application development within enterprise environments

  • Strong experience building REST APIs and microservices

  • Hands-on experience integrating with data platforms, catalogs, or governance tools

  • Solid understanding of metadata, data governance, and lineage concepts

  • Experience with ETL/ELT or data ingestion pipelines

  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies

  • Experience working in secure or regulated environments

  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Kafka, NiFi, or cloud-native data services

  • Background working on federal or government programs

  • Active or prior DHS clearance

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

Why Apply?

  • Work on high-impact federal data initiatives

  • Join a technically strong team focused on automation, modern engineering, and innovation

  • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge data governance technologies
