Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to design and build modern, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. This role focuses on developing high-performing React and TypeScript interfaces that deliver accessible, responsive, and seamless user experiences while integrating effectively with backend services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable React applications using TypeScript.
  • Build reusable, maintainable, and well-tested frontend components.
  • Work with modern frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design principles.
  • Customise and maintain frontend tooling such as Webpack and Babel.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and strong UI performance.
  • Contribute to frontend architecture, development standards, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain unit and end-to-end tests.
  • Collaborate closely with backend developers and cross-functional teams.
  • Optimise frontend performance and user experience.
  • Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and share knowledge across the team.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Strong commercial experience in frontend development, including extensive experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Experience building large-scale or enterprise-level frontend applications.
  • Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, React architecture, hooks, context, and component design patterns.
  • Experience with responsive design, accessibility, and frontend performance optimisation.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and modern web design standards.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Desirable

  • Experience with Mantine or similar component libraries.
  • Experience using Git or other version control systems.

  • Hybrid remote working environment.
