We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to design and build modern, scalable, and user-friendly web applications. This role focuses on developing high-performing React and TypeScript interfaces that deliver accessible, responsive, and seamless user experiences while integrating effectively with backend services.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable React applications using TypeScript.
Build reusable, maintainable, and well-tested frontend components.
Work with modern frontend technologies including HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, and responsive design principles.
Customise and maintain frontend tooling such as Webpack and Babel.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and strong UI performance.
Contribute to frontend architecture, development standards, and best practices.
Develop and maintain unit and end-to-end tests.
Collaborate closely with backend developers and cross-functional teams.
Optimise frontend performance and user experience.
Stay up to date with emerging frontend technologies and share knowledge across the team.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Strong commercial experience in frontend development, including extensive experience with React and TypeScript.
Experience building large-scale or enterprise-level frontend applications.
Strong understanding of modern JavaScript, React architecture, hooks, context, and component design patterns.
Experience with responsive design, accessibility, and frontend performance optimisation.
Understanding of UI/UX principles and modern web design standards.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Desirable
Experience with Mantine or similar component libraries.
Experience using Git or other version control systems.
