Senior DevSecOps Engineer

Location: Southern California
Type: Full-Time, Onsite

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to improve software delivery, automation, security, and release processes across a complex engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage Git workflows, releases, and software artifacts.
• Improve build, deployment, and release automation.
• Support change-control and configuration-management processes.
• Strengthen software supply-chain security, including vulnerability scanning, dependency management, SBOMs, and code signing.
• Administer engineering tools and improve developer workflows.
• Support integration, testing, and production releases.
• Mentor engineers and drive process improvements.

Requirements

• 8+ years in DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, build/release engineering, or related roles.
• Strong CI/CD, Git, Linux, scripting, and automation experience.
• Experience with artifact management and release processes.
• Understanding of configuration and change management.
• Experience in complex, regulated, or high-reliability engineering environments.

Desirable

• Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar.
• Python or Bash.
• Secure SDLC and application security.
• Cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code.
• Embedded, edge, real-time, or industrial software experience.

This is a hands-on senior role with significant ownership over DevSecOps tooling, automation, security, and engineering standards.
