CSG Talent are partnering with an internationally recognised precious metals producer to appoint a Corporate Senior Processing Engineer as part of their Corporate Technical Services function.
This is a high impact technical leadership role supporting multiple operations and strategic growth projects across Europe and internationally. The position will play a key role in improving plant performance, driving operational excellence initiatives, supporting digitalisation and advanced process control strategies, and providing technical support across both operating assets and future project development activities.
The opportunity would suit someone with strong operational metallurgy and process engineering expertise combined with exposure to corporate technical services, process optimisation, flotation operations, or EPCM/project environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support operational processing plants through troubleshooting, optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive process stability, recovery improvement and operational performance across multiple sites
- Support implementation of operational excellence and advanced process control (APC) initiatives
- Develop and implement best practices, standards and technical guidelines across operations
- Analyse plant data and support process performance benchmarking initiatives
- Collaborate closely with site metallurgical and operational teams to improve performance and consistency
- Provide technical input into studies, due diligence activities and strategic project evaluations
- Support implementation of digitalisation and operational technology strategies across the organisation
- Mentor and support site-based technical teams where required
Candidate Profile
We are interested in speaking with candidates who bring a combination of the following:
- 10+ years' experience across mineral processing, metallurgy or process engineering
- Strong flotation processing experience within precious metals, base metals or polymetallic operations
- Background supporting plant optimisation, troubleshooting and operational improvement initiatives
- Experience across operating mines, corporate technical services, EPCM or consulting environments
- Exposure to process control systems, APC, plant analytics or operational technology initiatives is highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of metallurgical accounting, process performance analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience supporting studies, technical evaluations or due diligence activities would be beneficial
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence site teams across multiple operations
- Degree qualified in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, Mineral Processing or related discipline
