Senior Architect - Industrial IoT

CSG Talent are supporting a global OEM in hiring a Senior Architect to shape next-generation connected equipment and fleet intelligence platforms. This role focuses on the architecture behind large-scale construction and mining equipment IoT ecosystems, predictive maintenance, and cloud-based fleet management SaaS platforms.

You'll operate at the intersection of industrial operations, data platforms, and digital transformation, helping define how equipment is connected, monitored, and optimised across its full lifecycle.

Essential experience includes industrial IoT, predictive maintenance and cloud architecture. This role is based in the US.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead the design for construction machinery and off-highway vehicle IoT telemetry, remote diagnostics, predictive health algorithms, and Uptime equipment efficiency management solutions.
• Map out customer lifecycle operations, aftermarket services, parts finance, and subscription SaaS monetization models.
• Build a firm connection with North American mining and infrastructure key account management, deliver cross-brand mixed fleet management and globally distributed cloud platform architecture solutions.
• Collaborate across China-US teams to serve overseas device integration, data governance, and customer management scenarios

What We're Looking For:

• 5+ years in heavy equipment digital platforms, OEM telematics, or industrial IoT
• Strong experience with IoT systems, telemetry, and cloud architecture
• Knowledge of CAN bus, MQTT, OPC UA, and edge computing environments
• Background in fleet management, predictive maintenance, or equipment analytics
• Strong understanding of mining / construction operational ecosystems
• Fluent English and ability to engage senior stakeholders globally
