CSG is pleased to be supporting an innovative European industrial technology company is entering a pivotal stage of growth as it prepares to scale manufacturing operations from pilot production to full industrial deployment.

Working closely with the CEO and Board, the Senior Advisor will provide strategic guidance across capital raising, investor engagement, corporate development and long-term growth strategy. Acting as a trusted advisor, this individual will bring the experience, credibility and external perspective required to support the company through a significant period of expansion.

The role is ideally suited to a highly accomplished executive who has previously helped scale capital-intensive industrial businesses and has extensive experience working with European investors and financial institutions within the critical minerals / battery value chain and associated industries. As the business evolves, there is potential for this position to develop into a longer-term Board or Chair appointment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO on strategic business priorities and corporate decision making.
  • Support Board discussions and governance activities.
  • Support engagement with institutional investors, strategic investors and European financial institutions.
  • Assist with investment materials, due diligence processes and investor presentations.
  • Provide strategic guidance throughout financing discussions and negotiations.
  • Utilise relevant investor and industry relationships where appropriate.
  • Support development of supply chain, sourcing and customer partnership strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for corporate growth, market expansion and strategic collaboration.
  • Advise on business expansion, strategic alliances and long-term organisational development.
  • Support evaluation of future growth opportunities across new markets, technologies and partnerships.
  • Provide guidance on building a scalable industrial organisation capable of supporting international growth.
  • Support engagement with government bodies, industry organisations and strategic stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance on navigating the European industrial and investment landscape.
  • Help strengthen relationships across the broader industrial ecosystem.

The successful individual will have held senior executive leadership positions within capital intensive industrial businesses and have first hand experience supporting organisations through significant periods of manufacturing growth and investment.

They will combine operational understanding with strategic and financial expertise, enabling them to advise leadership teams on both industrial execution and corporate development.

Experience is likely to include:

  • CEO, President, Managing Director, Executive Vice President or equivalent leadership experience.
  • Supporting or leading businesses through industrial scale-up from pilot or demonstration facilities to commercial manufacturing.
  • Significant experience working within production-based, capital-intensive environments.
  • Leading or supporting major European fundraising activities.
  • Strong relationships with institutional investors, strategic investors, infrastructure funds and European financial institutions.
  • Board-level governance, investor relations and corporate strategy.
  • Commercial partnerships, corporate development and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Experience within founder-led or high-growth industrial businesses.

Candidates may come from a range of industrial sectors, provided they have experience operating within complex manufacturing environments and supporting business growth through investment and strategic partnerships.
