Senior Account Manager - Industrial Valves & High-Pressure Fluid Systems

Location: Houston, TX (Remote)

Teritory: North America

Travel: 50%

A global manufacturer of high-performance fluid handling and high-pressure components is seeking a Senior Account Manager to support strategic growth across North America.

The company supplies precision-engineered valves, fittings, and tubing systems used in demanding industrial applications including waterjet cutting, oil & gas, chemical processing, R&D, and general manufacturing. Their products are widely recognised for quality, reliability, and technical performance.

This is a highly visible role focused on developing distribution channels, growing key accounts, and identifying new revenue opportunities across multiple industrial sectors.

The Opportunity

You will play a critical role in expanding the company's North American footprint by developing strong relationships with distributors, OEMs, and end users. The role combines strategic account management, channel development, and technical solution selling.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and expanding distribution and sales channel partnerships

  • Identifying high-value revenue opportunities within industrial markets

  • Creating territory-specific sales strategies aligned with company growth plans

  • Working closely with marketing, product management, and operations to support product positioning and market expansion

  • Supporting new product launches and driving adoption within the market

  • Conducting regular customer visits and technical discussions with contractors, plant managers, and engineering teams

  • Monitoring industry trends, market activity, and competitor developments

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of technical sales experience in industrial or mechanical products

  • Experience selling through distribution channels

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand technical product applications

  • Proven success managing strategic accounts and territory growth

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to operate independently in a remote, territory-based role

  • Willingness to travel across North America (~50%)
