Sales Representative - South Korea

About the company

A global manufacturer of dosing technology with 25 subsidiaries worldwide, and the number one player in cleaning & hygiene dosing. Its systems are widely recognised as the best technology in the field.

Global corporate agreements with major international customers give the local team an established base of business from day one, backed by the expertise of the European headquarters and the group's manufacturing sites in China and the US.

South Korea will become the group's 26th subsidiary. The Korean entity is being incorporated, with completion expected by the end of 2026 or in the first quarter of 2027, and you will be employed directly by the local Korean company.

The business is already winning in Korea, serving customers covered by its international agreements as well as new customers gained during 2026. The Korean office will be fully sales-focused, supplied from the group's manufacturing site in China, with local warehousing planned as the business grows.

Why this role

  • Join at the ground floor as one of the first hires and help build the Korean business from day one.
  • Represent the leading technology in its niche, with customers already in place through global agreements.
  • Have a say in where the team is based: the permanent office location will be decided once the new team is in place.
  • Work alongside an experienced, highly technical industry consultant who is leading the Korean branch during its launch phase.
  • Real scope to grow with the business as the Korean organisation develops.
  • A structured start: around one week of product and technical training at the European headquarters (with further training available at the China site) with the product managers and technicians, plus catalogues, technical data sheets and training materials.
  • Regular face-to-face support from the Regional Sales Manager, who visits the market roughly every two months.
  • A company that invests heavily in its people and builds each role around individual strengths: strong hunters are backed to open more new customers, and strong account developers are supported to grow key accounts and expand product ranges.

Role purpose

This is a hunter role. You will open new customers across South Korea, build a strong understanding of the local market and competitors, and help shape the company's growth strategy in Korea.

Key responsibilities

  • Win new customer accounts and build a strong pipeline of opportunities.
  • Grow sales with existing customers and distributors.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers and business partners in the local market.
  • Maintain a hands-on presence in the field through customer visits, follow-up and sales development activities.
  • Build knowledge of the Korean market and competitor landscape, and produce market reports and statistics to guide the growth plan.
  • Coordinate with headquarters and provide regular reporting and market feedback.

About you

  • Previous B2B sales experience, with a strong ability to develop business in the field.
  • Experience in water treatment, cleaning & hygiene, dosing or a related industry is highly desirable but not essential. Strong B2B sellers from other sectors with transferable skills are encouraged to apply.
  • A practical, proactive and hands-on approach to developing customers and business opportunities.
  • A hunter mindset: you enjoy opening doors, and you are curious about markets and competitors and comfortable turning that insight into clear reports.
  • Present, focused and committed: the company invests in its people and looks for the same commitment in return.
