What is the Academy?
We’ve been perfecting the CSG Recruitment Academy over a number of years to enable you to reach your potential in the best possible way.
The 12-week structured training programme gives you a safe space to learn and experiment with everything you’re learning about recruitment along the way, without the pressure of unrealistic targets and expectations.

FAQs
Does it matter what I’ve studied or my working background?
Not at all, the academy is open to those who have completed either A-Levels, University (any subject) or have some sales experience. We’ve had people succeed in the academy who have studied everything from business to interior design and who have worked in sport to customer service.
What support is given in the Academy?
You’ll learn about the three key areas: candidates, clients, and jobs through a mix of theory-based training with practical application at desk within the team. Sessions tend to be a mix of classroom, workshops, 1-2-1, desk based coaching. You’ll have support from our L&D team as well as your managers and team.
What do career opportunities look like?
There’s a HUGE opportunity for growth as we work towards our 2030 Vision. We look to offer 90% promotions from within and relocation for at least 25% of our team between our offices in the UK, Australia, and the USA. In terms of financial gain, we are well on our way to over 75% of the team earning £100k+, and have many options for development through programmes such as Future Leaders and the management development programme.
What is the culture like?
We threw this question back to our team recently and the themes that came through were that CSG is high performing, with great rewards and recognition. We're super sociable and people-focused, and invest heavily in our team's development. One of our colleagues said; "We take our jobs seriously, but not ourselves", and we thought that summed us up pretty well.
What do we do?
We’re a medium-sized business working with cutting-edge industries to support their senior-level hires. We find the perfect candidates for these roles, predominantly in the USA, but all over the world.
Working at CSG so far has been a great experience, one of the key causes of that being how high-performing and driven the environment is day-to-day. Everyone is ambitious, competitive, and pushing each other to improve, which naturally brings the best out of you both personally and professionally. From early on you’re given genuine responsibility and trusted to take ownership, which helped me develop confidence and progress much quicker than I expected. The academy setup has also been a huge benefit because you’re constantly learning not just through formal training, but through being surrounded by people at different stages who are all motivated and willing to help each other improve. There’s a strong balance between high expectations and strong support, so although the pace is fast, you never feel like you’re being left behind.
Before joining CSG, most of my experience came from hospitality and admin internships while I was at university, so recruitment was completely new to me. The academy made that transition a breeze with all of the support I received. The training covered all the systems and platforms we use every day, and with the support from Joni’s L&D sessions, I was able to build my confidence speaking to candidates and clients quickly. Since joining the academy five months ago, I have achieved more than I thought I would this early in my career.
