CSG Talent is partnering with an innovative, fast-growing mining technology start-up developing advanced optical devices for the inspection and scanning of mine shafts. The business combines cutting-edge technology with a strong safety focus, helping underground mining operations significantly improve productivity and risk management.
As part of a global expansion strategy, we are seeking a Business Development / Sales professional to drive growth across international markets. This is a high-impact role suited to someone who thrives on autonomy, travel, and building trusted relationships within the mining sector.
This position plays a critical role in identifying and converting new business opportunities worldwide. You will work closely with technical and product teams while acting as a trusted commercial partner to mining clients.
Key responsibilities include:
Building and maintaining long-term, trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and site stakeholders
Identifying new market opportunities and contributing to strategic commercial development plans
Delivering compelling, tailored product demonstrations that clearly communicate safety and productivity benefits
Designing, managing, and executing complex Proof of Concepts (POCs)
Representing the company at international conferences, trade shows, and industry networking events
Providing regular activity reports, market analysis, and strategic development updates
Maintaining accurate sales data and pipeline management using HubSpot CRM

You will bring a strong mix of technical understanding, commercial acumen, and relationship-building capability.
Education
Degree in Mining Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Business Management, International Relations, or equivalent
Experience
3-5 years' experience in B2B sales within mining, natural resources, manufacturing, or technology sectors
Key Requirements
Fluent spoken and written English (French and/or Spanish highly advantageous)
Willing and able to travel internationally on a regular basis
Confident with CRM and productivity tools (HubSpot, Google Workspace, Excel)
Comfortable selling complex, technical solutions to operational and executive audiences
