We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead and grow our nutritional ingredients business across the United States. This is a senior commercial leadership role focused on driving sustainable revenue growth across a diverse ingredients portfolio, expanding into new ingredients markets and applications, and building strong long-term customer relationships across the food, beverage, supplement, and health sectors.

The role requires a strategic, commercially focused leader with deep ingredients industry knowledge who can translate U.S. market trends and customer needs into profitable ingredients growth opportunities, while developing high-performing sales teams and strong cross-functional collaboration across the ingredients value chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a U.S. sales strategy for nutritional ingredients.
  • Identify new ingredients market opportunities, customer segments, and application areas.
  • Drive revenue growth, margin performance, and long-term customer value across the ingredients portfolio.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key ingredients customers and distributors nationwide.
  • Lead pricing strategy, contract negotiations, and commercial agreements for ingredients supply.
  • Oversee key account strategies and customer development plans within the ingredients sector.
  • Represent the business at U.S. ingredients industry events and customer meetings.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the sales team, setting clear targets and performance expectations.
  • Work closely with sourcing, quality, regulatory, logistics, and technical teams to support ingredients customer requirements and product development.
  • Contribute to ingredients portfolio expansion through market insight and customer feedback.
  • Own ingredients sales forecasting, pipeline management, and budgeting.
  • Provide clear ingredients commercial performance reporting to senior management.

Candidate Profile

  • Senior sales leadership experience in nutritional ingredients, food ingredients, or life sciences.
  • Proven track record of driving U.S. ingredients sales growth.
  • Strong experience managing key ingredients accounts, distributors, and strategic partnerships.
  • Commercially astute with strong ingredients negotiation skills.
  • Strategic, results-driven, and comfortable in fast-paced ingredients environments.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to translate technical ingredients solutions into clear commercial value.
  • Degree in Business, Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, or a related field (preferred).
