A global supplier of nutraceutical and functional ingredients is seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand business growth across the Texas and Mountain West regions. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and enjoys building strong customer relationships while developing new business.

The ideal candidate is a strategic, self-starting professional with a proven track record in ingredient or dietary supplement sales. You will manage key accounts, drive new business development, and strengthen regional market presence through a consultative, solution-focused sales approach.

Responsibilties

  • Lead regional sales efforts for proprietary branded ingredients and commodity raw materials

  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contract manufacturers, brands, and distributors

  • Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts

  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings

  • Provide product knowledge, market insights, and strategic solutions to customers

  • Track all sales activity, customer interactions, and pipeline progress in a CRM system

  • Prepare weekly reports on sales performance, market trends, and growth opportunities

  • Monitor competitor activity and industry developments

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support customer success and revenue growth

  • Manage travel and operating expenses efficiently

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of sales experience in nutraceuticals, dietary supplements, or ingredient distribution

  • Bachelor's degree in science, nutrition, business, marketing, or a related field

  • Proven hunter sales mindset with strong new business development skills

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to manage a large, multi-state territory

  • Self-motivated, organized, and disciplined

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Comfortable working independently and leading regional sales initiatives

  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms

  • Willingness to travel regularly within the territory

  • Foreign language skills (Mandarin or Hindi) are a plus
