Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other contract documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimating purposes
- Conduct site visits to assess project scope, conditions, and potential risks
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and material pricing based on project requirements
- Identify and quantify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options
- Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and submit them to clients within specified deadlines
- Participate in pre-bid meetings and negotiations with clients and subcontractors
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation
