Regional Technical Manager - Animal Nutrition & Health (APAC)

Location: Thailand (preferred) or Southeast Asia

Travel: Approximately 40-60%

The Opportunity

Our client is an international animal nutrition and health company seeking a Regional Technical Manager to support business growth across the Asia Pacific region. This individual will act as the technical expert for the region, working closely with distributors, customers, commercial teams, product management, and regulatory stakeholders to drive product adoption and market success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to distributors, key accounts, and commercial teams across APAC
• Develop and deliver technical training programs and educational materials
• Coordinate local field trials and support data collection, analysis, and interpretation
• Work closely with product management teams to support product launches and local market requirements
• Partner with regulatory teams to support product registrations and technical documentation
• Monitor market developments, customer needs, and competitor activity
• Deliver technical presentations and training to customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders
• Support the development of technical positioning, claims, and value propositions

Candidate Profile

Required Experience

• 5-8 years of experience in a technical, product management, applications, or animal nutrition role
• Strong customer-facing experience with excellent presentation and communication skills
• Experience working across multiple APAC markets
• Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, R&D, and Regulatory teams
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing field trials and interpreting technical data
• Technical marketing, product positioning, or claims development experience
• Distributor management and technical enablement experience
• Aquaculture experience would be advantageous

Education

• Master's degree or PhD in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Biotechnology, Agricultural Science, or a related discipline
