Our client is leading Dairy and Cheese manufactuer with 8 manufacuturing sites in the USA. They specifically require Dairy/Food manufacturing experience.
The Role
As the Quality Assurance Manager, you'll be a site quality leader- responsible for implementing and maintaining best-in-class quality assurance programs and systems. You'll lead a small team and work cross-functionally with Production, Innovation, and Operations to ensure our products meet the highest standards for safety, compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead the site's Quality Management and Food Safety programs, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate and support third-party audits, internal audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Manage customer complaints and lead root cause investigations, corrective actions, and prevention strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality performance, including GMP standards, product compliance, and complaint reduction.
- Partner with Operations and NPD teams to support new product development, product launches, and process optimization.
- Lead HACCP review processes and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
- Coach and develop the QA team, fostering a strong food safety and quality culture across the site.
About You

You're confident leading teams, solving problems, and influencing others to do things the right way, this may be the role for you. You will have the following skills and experience in;
- Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Quality Assurance roles within the food manufacturing sector
- Strong understanding of HACCP, BRCGS/GFSI, and quality systems.
- Proven track record managing audits and regulatory compliance.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams.
- Passion for driving improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Familiarity with Lean or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
- Strong report writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage complexity.
