The Role

This role is responsible for leading commercial construction projects from early planning and pre-construction through construction, commissioning, and close-out. Key responsibilities include managing subcontractors and design consultants, coordinating closely with field leadership, controlling cost and schedule, mitigating risk, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and coordinating subcontractors, design consultants, project engineers, and internal project teams
  • Partnering closely with the Project Superintendent to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality and compliance requirements
  • Overseeing technically complex or high-value projects, including multiple concurrent assignments or projects of strategic importance
  • Developing and executing project plans, ensuring clear communication of logistics, workflows, and objectives across all stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen client relationships and contribute to new business development and future project opportunities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing construction projects exceeding $5M in value, or multiple concurrent projects exceeding $1M
  • Strong understanding of risk management and mitigation strategies
  • Effective negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency with industry-standard project management and estimating software, scheduling tools, and office productivity applications
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships
