Project Manager | Architecture

I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-known, design-led architecture firm with a long-standing reputation across California that is continuing to invest in its Bay Area studio and is looking to appoint a Project Manager.

The practice delivers large, technically complex projects, typically ranging from $30M to $500M+ in construction value, across multifamily, mixed-use, higher education, industrial, and civic sectors.

The Role

• Lead major architectural projects from early design through construction

• Take ownership of schedules, budgets, consultant coordination, and delivery risk

• Act as a day-to-day client contact on complex commissions

• Work closely with studio leadership to uphold delivery standards and project performance

• Support proposals, pursuits, and pre-construction planning

• Mentor and coordinate project teams across multiple disciplines

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within an architecture practice

• Track record delivering large-scale, complex projects through all phases

• Strong technical understanding of building systems and documentation

• Confident managing consultants, clients, and internal teams

• Comfortable operating with autonomy and visibility close to leadership
