Project Manager - Ontario

Our client is a world class underground mining contractor delivering development and production at an established gold operation in remote Ontario. We're looking for a Project Manager to take full ownership of the contract for the next few years, with opportunity to extend.

The role

You'll hold end-to-end accountability for safety, production, people and commercial performance across both areas. Day to day you'll largely run the operation on your own terms, backed by on-site HR, corporate and technical support. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the worlds best and be paid extremely well.

About you

• Proven track record as a contractor Project Manager in underground hard rock or mine management environment
• Engineering degree preferred (it simplifies the work permit process), though we'll consider strong PMs from other backgrounds with solid foundations
• Comfortable owning budgets and financials
• A genuine people leader who has managed crews and operators, not only technical or engineering teams, and can navigate the client/contractor partnership
• Solid underground development and production drilling experience
