CSG are partnered with a specialist engineering consultancy who has been appointed as lead advisory on a fully funded Definitive Feasibility Study for a strategically significant Critical Minerals project in South Africa.

This is a Senior Project Management role, responsible for leading the DFS and will involve coordinating specialist consultants covering:

  • Mine Design and Reserves
  • Comminution and Hydrometallurgy
  • Solvent Extraction process
  • Plant Design
  • Environmental and permitting
  • CAPEX Estimation

As Project Manager, you will:

  • Manage technical interfaces across multiple geographies
  • Aligning engineering deliverables and scope boundaries
  • Minimise gaps, overlaps and misalignment between consultants
  • Maintain high level oversight without micromanaging technical consultants

You have:

  • Experience on large scale mineral processing or metallurgical projects
  • Exposure to hydrometallurgical and/or pyrometallurgical circuits
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management capability
  • Experience working across EPCM / consultant environments
  • Ability to manage complexity and moving parts without losing control of schedule

Upon completion of this DFS study, the role is expected to naturally progress into an Engineering Manager position , leading multi discipline teams across multiple critical minerals projects.
