Project Architect

Project Architect - Civic & Higher Education | Los Angeles, CA

I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established, design-led California architecture firm seeking a Project Architect to support the delivery of major Civic and Higher Education projects in Los Angeles.

The practice delivers complex, technically demanding work typically ranging from $30M to $500M+ in construction value and is known for shaping landmark institutional and mixed-use developments across the state.

The Role

• Lead technical delivery from DD through Construction Administration

• Own drawing production, detailing, and documentation standards

• Coordinate consultants and resolve technical challenges

• Oversee QA/QC across large public-sector projects

• Support Principals in client-facing technical discussions

• Mentor and guide junior team members

Profile

• 7-12 years' experience within a reputable architecture firm

• Strong Civic and/or Higher Education project background

• Experience delivering large, complex public projects

• Advanced Revit capability

• Strong detailing and construction knowledge

• Confident taking ownership of technical packages
