Project Architect / Manager

We are partnered with the same Washington, DC-based architecture practice, who are also hiring a Project Manager / Project Architect to support their growing Multifamily, Student Housing & Adaptive Reuse pipeline.

This role is designed for a licensed architect who enjoys hands-on project delivery and can flex between technical leadership and light project management. This is not a paperwork-only PM role.

What you'll lead

• Technical leadership and delivery of architectural projects

• Coordination of consultants, schedules, and project documentation

• Client communication and project oversight through all phases

• Select project management responsibilities including budgeting and coordination

• Collaboration with firm leadership on delivery and project performance

What they're looking for

• Licensed Architect with 12+ years of experience

• Strong background in multifamily, student housing, and/or office-to-residential conversion projects

• Proven technical strength as a Project Architect

• Comfortable stepping into PM responsibilities as required

• Adaptable, hands-on mindset suited to a mid-size studio

• Prior experience in small-to-mid firms strongly preferred
