Supply Chain & Production Planning Manager - Snacks & Baked Goods Manufacturing

CSG are partnered with a rapidly growing Snacks & Baked Goods manufacturer to appoint a Supply Chain & Production Planning Manager to lead production scheduling, material planning, and inventory strategy across the facility. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on systems, structure, and cross-functional alignment within a scaling manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, this role is central to strengthening ERP discipline, improving planning accuracy, and ensuring the operation consistently meets customer demand.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain the master production schedule

  • Convert forecasts and customer orders into achievable production plans

  • Balance capacity, labour, sanitation, inventory targets, and service levels

  • Communicate schedules and priorities clearly to Operations and Warehouse

  • Oversee raw material and packaging planning, including safety stock and reorder points

  • Anticipate shortages, manage risk, and drive mitigation plans

  • Ensure inventory accuracy and alignment between ERP and physical stock

  • Lead Purchasing and Warehouse leadership, setting priorities and accountability

  • Own production planning and inventory workflows within the ERP system (NetSuite preferred)

  • Maintain BOM accuracy, item setup integrity, and reporting discipline

  • Partner cross-functionally with Production, Maintenance, FSQA, and Sales

  • Support new product launches and customer program transitions

  • Improve service levels, inventory turns, planning accuracy, and cost control



Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or operations leadership

  • Proven experience owning production schedules and material planning

  • ERP experience required (NetSuite strongly preferred)

  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills

  • Experience leading people and cross-functional teams

  • Manufacturing or food/CPG experience preferred

  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable in fast-paced environments
