Production Manager - Bakery

You will oversee daily production operations across multiple lines, ensuring schedules are met while maintaining the highest food safety and quality standards.

You will lead, develop, and hold accountable front-line supervisors and hourly production teams, often overseeing 100+ indirect reports.

You will drive key performance indicators including OEE, yield, throughput, waste reduction, labor efficiency, and downtime improvement.

You will ensure full compliance with BRC/SQF, HACCP, GMP, and all regulatory and company food safety requirements.

You will partner cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve production challenges and improve plant performance.

You will champion continuous improvement initiatives, applying Lean manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving to enhance operational results.

What You Will Bring

You will have 5+ years of progressive leadership experience within food manufacturing, ideally in bakery or dessert production.

You will have experience managing multi-line, multi-shift operations in a high-volume environment.

You will demonstrate strong knowledge of food safety systems and regulatory standards.

You will have proven experience improving productivity, reducing waste, and building strong team culture.

You will bring strong communication skills, accountability, and a visible leadership presence on the production floor.

Compensation is competitive and includes base salary, performance bonus, and relocation support where applicable.
