You will step into a Process Engineer role with a focus on Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems, supporting a high-volume food or beverage manufacturing site. You will take ownership of cleaning processes across the facility, ensuring hygiene, efficiency, and compliance while optimising system performance and reducing downtime.

What You Will Do
You will own and optimise CIP systems across processing and packaging areas, ensuring effective cleaning with minimal impact to production.

You will develop, validate, and improve CIP cycles, including chemical usage, temperatures, flow rates, and cleaning times.

You will work closely with operations, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure cleaning standards meet food safety and regulatory requirements.

You will troubleshoot CIP performance issues, identifying root causes and implementing long-term solutions.

You will drive improvements in water, chemical, and energy usage, reducing cost while maintaining hygiene standards.

You will support commissioning and validation of new equipment and systems, ensuring CIP integration and effectiveness.

You will lead documentation and standardisation of cleaning procedures, ensuring consistency across shifts and lines.

You will use data and process trends to identify opportunities for optimisation and continuous improvement.

You will support audit readiness, ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, and internal quality standards.

What You Will Bring
You will have experience as a Process Engineer within food, beverage, dairy, or similar hygienic manufacturing environments.

You will have strong knowledge of CIP systems, including design, operation, and optimisation.

You will understand hygienic design principles and cleaning validation requirements.

You will have experience working with utilities and processing systems such as tanks, heat exchangers, pipelines, and valves.

You will bring a data-driven approach to problem solving and process improvement.

You will be comfortable working cross-functionally with production, quality, and maintenance teams.

You will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and focused on driving both compliance and efficiency.
