You will step into a Plant Manager role leading a soup and liquid processing facility, operating in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You will take full ownership of site performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people, while driving operational excellence across processing, cooking, and filling operations. Bilingual capability will be key in building strong communication and engagement across the workforce.
What You Will Do
You will lead all plant operations, including processing, production, maintenance, quality, engineering, warehouse, and EHS functions.
You will own full P&L responsibility for the site, driving cost control, efficiency improvements, and margin performance.
You will oversee liquid processing systems including batching, cooking, blending, and high-speed filling and packaging lines.
You will ensure strict adherence to food safety, regulatory, and customer standards, maintaining a strong quality and compliance culture.
You will develop and execute the site's strategic plan, including capacity expansion, process optimisation, and capital investment.
You will lead, coach, and develop a cross-functional leadership team, building a strong, engaged, and high-performing culture.
You will drive continuous improvement initiatives across yield, waste reduction, line efficiency, and labor productivity.
You will act as the senior on-site leader, fostering clear communication across all levels, leveraging bilingual skills to strengthen workforce alignment and engagement.
What You Will Bring
You will have 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within food manufacturing, with strong exposure to liquid or soup processing environments.
You will have experience leading large-scale, multi-line facilities with significant headcount.
You will bring strong financial acumen with experience managing site budgets, cost control, and capital investments.
You will have deep knowledge of food safety systems including HACCP, SQF or BRC, and GMP.
You will have a track record of improving key operational KPIs including safety, OEE, yield, waste, and service levels.
You will be bilingual (English and Spanish preferred), with the ability to communicate effectively across a diverse workforce.
You will be a visible, hands-on leader who can influence at all levels and drive accountability across the site.
