The Operations Manager plans and manages liquid product production operations to ensure objectives for quality, efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved. You will lead daily operations for a specific liquid product line (such as ketchup, sauces, dressings, or similar products) within a high-volume manufacturing environment.

This role requires strong operational leadership, team development capability, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across a fast-paced production facility.

What You Will Do

You will plan and coordinate liquid production operations to ensure productivity, quality, cost, and service targets are met or exceeded.

You will lead and develop assigned staff, including recruiting, hiring, training, performance management, and succession planning, building a motivated and high-performing team.

You will manage operations through subordinate supervisors, overseeing up to 100 predominantly hourly employees across shifts.

You will coordinate communication between production, maintenance, quality, and other departments to ensure seamless operations and fulfillment of internal and external customer requirements.

You will monitor and analyze production data, operating procedures, and performance metrics to maximize efficiency and drive continuous improvement.

You will ensure full compliance with food safety standards, customer requirements, and all regulatory policies.

You will support budget management, cost control initiatives, and operational planning to meet financial objectives.

What You Will Bring

You will hold a Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.

You will have 7-10 years of progressive experience within a manufacturing environment, including increasing supervisory responsibility.

You will demonstrate strong knowledge of food safety systems, production management principles, and maintenance fundamentals.

You will have experience with project management and budget oversight within a manufacturing setting.

You will be proficient in standard PC applications including word processing and spreadsheet software.

You will have the ability to lead and motivate teams in a performance-driven, team-based environment.

You will communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, working cross-functionally and with external customers.

You will proactively identify operational issues and drive timely resolution.

You will operate with integrity, accountability, and a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
