National Account Manager - Convenience Channel

Location: Remote / Field-Based (Western US based)

We are partnering with a fast-scaling, high-growth food manufacturing business that is expanding aggressively across the US Convenience (C-Store) channel. This is a first permanent hire role that will play a key role in the commercial development of the business.

With strong brand traction, growing distribution, and significant investment behind its next stage of expansion, the business is now looking to appoint a National Account Manager - Convenience Channel to drive national growth across key convenience & foodservice partners.

This is a high-impact role offering real ownership, autonomy, and the opportunity to help shape a rapidly scaling commercial function.


The Role

You will be responsible for developing and growing relationships across the US Convenience channel, including major national accounts, regional chains, brokers, and distributor networks.

This is both a strategic account management and growth role, with a strong focus on distribution gains, new listings, and commercial execution.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow key Convenience channel accounts
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned to business growth targets
  • Drive new distribution and SKU expansion across national and regional customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key buyers and category teams
  • Lead negotiations on pricing, trade spend, promotional activity, and contracts
  • Own account P&L performance including revenue, margin, and profitability
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities across the convenience ecosystem
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and operations to ensure execution excellence
  • Use category insights and consumer trends to build compelling sell-in stories

About You

We are looking for a commercially strong food sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven experience in National Accounts or Key Accounts within FMCG
  • Strong understanding of the US Convenience / C-Store channel
  • Experience selling into customers such as 7-Eleven, Circle K, Speedway, Wawa, Casey's, etc.
  • Experience with products in the refrigerated 'pouch' style product space.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Track record of driving distribution, revenue growth, and new listings
  • Ability to operate in a high-growth, fast-moving environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and accountability
