CSG Talent has an opportunity for a Mining Engineer with experience in mine management, to focus on ensuring mining activities in mine sites across ANZ meet safety, quality and environmental legislations.

Our client is a global leader in the production and distribution of raw minerals for a variety of industries such as construction, packaging, food, pharmaceuticals and agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage quarry operation strategies.
• Ensure short, medium and long term plans are safe and sustainable to operate in line with legal requirements.
• Responsible for maintenance and reporting of mine operation reports for each mine in Australasia.
• Lead mine planning using Surpac modelling.
• Monitor and maintain consistent supply of raw materials and productivity at each quarry, identifying risks and opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience in mine management - ideally with a background in minerals or metals.
• Tertiary Education in mining highly regarded.
• Proficient in Surpac mine modelling and planning.
• Strong working knowledge of risk management and WHS + Environmental Legislations.
• Well-versed with Australia and New Zealand mining legislations.
