The Facility

The role is based at a highly automated processing facility in Kemps Creek.

  • ABB automation systems controlling the process
  • Extensive conveyor infrastructure
  • Automated washing and packing lines
  • High-throughput processing environment
  • 24/7 operational facility

The Opportunity

An experienced Maintenance Supervisor is required to lead maintenance operations at the site and ensure equipment reliability across the automated processing systems.

You will lead a team of approximately 12 technicians and play a key role in maintaining the performance and uptime of the facility.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and supporting a team of maintenance technicians
  • Overseeing preventative and reactive maintenance activities
  • Ensuring reliability of automated washing, packing, and conveyor systems
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and operational issues
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Coordinating maintenance planning with operations teams
  • Call out requirements
  • Maintaining high safety and compliance standards

This role operates primarily on day shift (6:00am - 2:00pm), however the Maintenance Supervisor will more often work business hours to see through the shift change overs. The site is a 24/7 operational site.

About You

You are a technically strong maintenance leader with hands-on experience in automated or industrial environments.

You will bring:

  • Strong mechanical maintenance background
  • Experience supervising or leading maintenance teams
  • Experience working with conveyors, automated equipment, or production systems
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues in high-volume operations
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Commitment to safety and operational reliability

Experience in automated processing, logistics, food production, or industrial facilities will be highly regarded.
