Your efforts will directly contribute to meeting production targets, minimizing downtime, and maintaining the integrity of the cold chain from receipt to shipment.

This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment and can build scalable systems that grow with the business.

  • Manage team performance, training, and development, including pay and resource planning.

Maintenance & Operations

  • Implement and maintain structured maintenance programs and processes to ensure equipment reliability and plant efficiency.

  • Oversee installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of new equipment, coordinating closely with vendors and engineers.

  • Collaborate with operations, quality, and supply chain teams to align maintenance practices with production goals and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor and manage downtime to maximize throughput while maintaining safety and product quality.

Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations for human-grade food production.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by establishing and refining maintenance policies, preventive programs, and standard operating procedures.

  • Contribute to budgeting and resource allocation for maintenance-related activities.

  • Provide input on policy formation and operational standards within area of responsibility.

Additional Duties

  • Support cross-functional projects and any other responsibilities necessary to maintain smooth plant operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in food manufacturing, including hands-on management of maintenance operations.

  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

  • Proven ability to lead teams, develop processes, and improve operational efficiency in a regulated food production environment.
