Working closely with field-based Sales Engineers, you will take ownership of technical and commercial quotations, ensuring customer requirements are fully understood, solutions are correctly engineered, and proposals are competitive, compliant, and commercially sound.
This role sits at the intersection of applications engineering and sales strategy, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both technical problem-solving and influencing commercial outcomes.
As Inside Sales Engineer, your responsibilities will include but wont be limited to:
Prepare accurate, timely, and competitive quotations based on customer technical and commercial requirements
Proactively propose value-added alternatives and engineered solutions to strengthen customer proposals
Collaborate closely with Outside Sales Engineers, product teams, and internal stakeholders
Liaise with and technically/commercially qualify third-party component suppliers
Ensure quotations align with customer terms, conditions, and project expectations
Manage multiple quotations simultaneously across different stages of the sales lifecycle
Use internal quotation tools, reference documentation, and structured sales processes effectively
Participate in technical and commercial project discussions as required (internal or customer-facing)
Whats skill set and experience we are searching for:
Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable working with international teams
Fluent English required
Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
Solid technical understanding of pumps and hydraulics
Experience supporting pump solutions for industries such as oil & gas, power generation, water, or process industries
Degree in Engineering or Industrial Distribution preferred
Minimum 2 year's experience in Inside Sales Engineering, Applications Engineering, or a similar technical sales role
