HR M&A Integration Lead

We are partnered with a fast-growing, global SaaS organisation at a pivotal stage of growth through acquisition. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and project manage the end-to-end HR integration strategy across international M&A activity, acting as the central programme lead on behalf of HR. You will partner closely with senior leaders and acquired businesses to deliver seamless, well-governed integrations.

Working in a dynamic, technology-driven environment, you will play a critical role in aligning people, processes, and systems while ensuring a positive employee experience and supporting long-term business growth.

Contract Details:

  • 6-month initial contract - potential for extension beyond the initial term
  • Fully remote position
  • Ad hoc travel to Paris required to support integration activities, stakeholder engagement, and key project milestones

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and project manage the full HR integration lifecycle end-to-end, acting as the central point of coordination on behalf of HR across all M&A activity.
  • Lead HR integration workstreams for acquisitions, ensuring alignment with established M&A playbooks and integration frameworks.
  • Develop and manage detailed integration project plans, defining milestones, timelines, dependencies, and ownership across all HR workstreams.
  • Partner with HR teams from acquired businesses, including French and US entities, to align HR processes, policies, and operating models.
  • Coordinate HR systems integration activities, supporting system selection, data migration, process harmonisation, and future-state HR operating models.
  • Facilitate regular cross-functional working groups and stakeholder meetings to drive progress, manage dependencies, and ensure successful execution.
  • Collect, validate, and analyse HR data to support due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition decision-making.
  • Develop and execute communication and change management plans to support employees and leaders throughout the integration lifecycle.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations, governance materials, and status updates for senior stakeholders and steering committees.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively manage integration risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
  • Act as a trusted partner across HR, M&A, IT, Finance, Legal, and business leadership teams to deliver successful integration outcomes.

Core Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience leading and project managing end-to-end HR M&A integrations, within SaaS, technology, or other fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Proven experience leading international acquisitions, including both French and US-based entity integrations and cross-border HR projects.
  • Strong programme and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Experience operating as the central HR integration lead, driving governance, structure, and execution across the full integration lifecycle.
  • Expertise in HR systems integration, data migration, and process harmonisation.
  • Deep understanding of US HR practices, employment frameworks, and benefits, with the ability to incorporate these into global operating models.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills, with experience partnering with senior leadership teams.
  • Experience supporting HR due diligence and post-merger integration activities.
  • Strong change management, communication, and employee engagement capabilities.
  • Analytical mindset with experience interpreting HR data and translating insights into action.
  • Advanced presentation and reporting skills, including executive and steering committee communications.
  • Proactive approach to risk management, problem-solving, and driving integration success.

Desirable:

  • French language skills (professional working proficiency or fluent) to support stakeholder engagement and integration activities.
  • Experience working within global, multi-country SaaS organisations undergoing rapid growth and transformation.
  • Exposure to HRIS implementations or integrations as part of M&A activity.
