Head of Feedstock Sourcing

CSG are pleased to be supporting a fast growing European industrial recycling business is looking to appoint a senior commercial leader to build and scale its feedstock sourcing function across Europe.

The company is operating in the critical minerals and advanced materials supply chain, with strong backing, active industrial expansion plans and a clear role in Europe's circular economy and strategic materials agenda. As the business continues to move into larger volume operations, securing reliable, long-term supply partnerships has become a key strategic priority.

This is a confidential search for a commercially driven individual who can originate, negotiate and manage supply relationships across regulated waste streams, recycling operators, Automotive OEM's ,industrial partners and producer responsibility ecosystems.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the European feedstock sourcing strategy, with Germany expected to be a priority market. The role will combine business development, strategic partnerships, contract negotiation, public affairs awareness and close coordination with operations and logistics.

You will work directly with senior leadership and play a central role in building the company's long-term supply base.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead the feedstock sourcing strategy across Germany and wider Europe.

• Originate and develop relationships with Automotive OEM's, recycling operators, WEEE/e-waste businesses, collection schemes, industrial partners and regulated waste organisations.

• Secure recurring supply agreements and long-term commercial partnerships.

• Map and prioritise relevant waste streams including consumer electronics, household electrical waste, industrial scrap, small appliances, IT equipment and adjacent material streams.

• Manage and expand existing recycling relationships.

• Work closely with buyers, logistics and operations teams to convert material flows into reliable contracted volume.

• Represent the business in discussions linked to circular economy, European industrial policy, critical minerals and supply chain resilience.

• Monitor relevant regulatory developments across Germany, France and the EU.

• Support the company's wider growth strategy, including potential future partnerships, acquisitions or market entry opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong commercial experience in battery recycling, WEEE, e-waste, electronics recycling, secondary materials, waste management, circular economy or adjacent industrial sectors.

• Proven ability to source, negotiate and secure long-term supply or service agreements.

• Strong network across German and wider European recycling markets.

• Experience working with recycling operators, EPR schemes, take-back systems, OEMs, compliance organisations or industrial waste streams.

• Comfortable operating in a scale-up or high-growth industrial environment.

• Able to combine hands-on deal origination with strategic market development.

• Strong stakeholder management skills across commercial, operational, regulatory and senior leadership groups.

• German language required; English required.

• Based in Germany, with willingness to travel regularly across Europe.
